The level of compensation the Court awards depends on the impact of the proven negligence.

The Court awards damages in two parts.

The first is compensation for the injury itself (known as an award for pain suffering and loss of amenity).

The second is compensation for all the financial losses and expenses experienced both past and future including an award for any help and assistance given for free.
