The level of compensation the Court awards depends on the impact of the proven negligence.

The Court awards damages in two parts.

The first is compensation for the injury itself (known as an award for pain suffering and loss of amenity).

The second is compensation for all the financial losses and expenses experienced both past and future including an award for any help and assistance given for free.

We will discuss with you how the impact of your injury might be reduced through specialist treatment, equipment, care, provision of suitable accommodation, training etc and how best to present your case to ensure you receive maximum compensation.

We may need to instruct not only medical experts but also experts in the fields of care, specific therapies, employment, accommodation, psychiatry, financial management, and other disciplines in order to fully assess the level of compensation a Court should award and to put your case in the strongest possible way to maximise your compensation.
