Aged 68 C attended his chiropractor for foot care, his GP for pain in his foot, and finally hospital.

C eventually required amputation of his left big toe.

BREACH OF DUTY

It was C's case that his chiropractor and GP failed to refer him promptly to hospital for investigation and that once he was referred the hospital failed to prioritise his treatment.

OUTCOME

Liability was admitted and compensation agreed at £20,000
